How did you spend your Christmas?
Trump spent it posting nearly 200 times on social media. That averages 12 times an hour during waking hours. Or once every five minutes. Not that he doesn't doesn't have anything better to do. Actually, he does, because he also spent it --
Bombing ISIS in Nigeria. (You'll recall he said he wiped out ISIS during his first term.)
And sending his holiday greeting to the nation, starting, ""Merry Christmas to all, including the many Sleazebags who loved Jeffrey Epstein, gave him bundles of money, went to his Island, attended his parties, and thought he was the greatest guy on earth, only to 'drop him like a dog' when things got too HOT, falsely claimed they had nothing to do with him, didn’t know him, said he was a disgusting person, and then blame, of course, President Donald J. Trump, who was actually the only one who did drop Epstein, and long before it became fashionable to do so."
Oh, what the heck, it's the holiday season, and so in the spirit of good fellowship, let's just post the whole warm greeting to all Americans because Trump was only getting started -- and because you might not believe this is real otherwise.
But first, before diving in, a reminder that Jeffrey Epstein said he was Trump's best friend, and the Epstein files dump this week showed that Trump (who has said he was never on Epstein's plane) was actually on it at least eight times. You're on your own with the rest of the lies --
But this is not about Trump -- we know who he is, it's about the elected MAGOPs in Congress. And I know I've said this before and often, but it not only is always relevant because Trump is the one who gets all the attention, while the MAGOPs in Congress enable him in silence. And this is more important than ever, since Trump has clearly been breaking down, rambling in speeches, falling asleep at public events, even saying himself that he's "very neurotic," while smearing a murdered public figure and his wife, as well as literally tearing down part of the White House, and adding his name to a "living memorial" for JFK, while hosting a TV entertainment honors show. But we know he's a racist, convicted felon, adjudicated rapist, anti-Semitic, malignant narcissist with dementia. Meanwhile, it's the MAGOP in Congress who will be running for re-election without Trump's name on the ballot, yet are the ones who prop up Trump, lie for him, are mute to all these egregious flaws and more, and who are the officials who actually pass the fascist policies he pushes. While they watch in silence and full acceptance as his dementia degenerates.
Speaking of holiday greetings, every year the public broadcaster Channel 4 in England invites an occasionally controversial (sometimes very controversial) public figure to an alternative Christmas Message to the king's annual address. And this year, they asked Jimmy Kimmel. Channel 4 said that Kimmel had “found himself on the front line of America’s battle over free speech.”
