To Republicans or anyone attempting to claim how important the Nunes memo is for showing inappropriate action by the FBI in getting a FISA warrant against poor, misunderstood Trump campaign foreign affairs adviser Carter Page based solely on the Steele Dossier -- never mind that the first FISA warrant was granted after he had left the campaign, and never mind that the FBI investigation of PAGE started three years before he joined the campaign, here is a brief, 13-second video from 2016 when he appeared on RT, the Russian government television network.
This is not to suggest that what is said on the brief video is illegal or inappropriate. It isn't, at all. It just is to point out that Carter Page did not pop up on the FBI radar by pure chance because of the Steele Dossier. Not that there's anything wrong with evidence popping up in the Steele Dossier, mind you, none of which has yet been refuted and much of which has been validated already. But sometimes you don't need such things to make a far-larger point.
