Trials and Tribulations

The end might be in sight.  If the judge is to be believed for the trial I'm sitting on the jury for,the opposing counsels are supposed to be giving their final arguments on Monday morning.  O huzzah.  The only hiccup will be if they decided to call rebuttal witnesses, though neither has said yet that they will.  So, if all goes according to this schedule, the case will be sent to the jury in the afternoon, and we'll head off into Deliberation Land..

How long that will take, I have no idea.  I have some guesses, but because we're not to talk about the case publicly, I'll leave it at that.  But I'll post a piece here about the trial after the fact.  I suspect it will be long (-- just like the trial).  I suspect that most people who read these pages aren't surprised to hear that...
