The Writers Workbench

The Writers Workbench tech review column is back, and this month we take a look at the Audio-Technics LP60-BT.  That's a turntable which has built-in Bluetooth -- meaning you don't need a stereo receiver, big speakers and space for it in your living room.  You only need a place to store it near an electrical outlet and then can beam the audio to any portable Bluetooth speakers you have.  This is not a high-end device for audiophiles, but an easy way to listen to those old LPs you have stored away and gave up ever hearing again.

There is much that's terrific with the turntable -- along with some things that are unfortunately problematic. The good news is that I suggest an easy "fix" for that, I think.

As always, it's easier to link to the article that's formatted properly on the Writers Guild of America website, for whom the column is written, rather than setting it up on this site.  So, you can find it here.
