The Weekly Stewart This Week
On this “The Weekly Show” podcast with Jon Stewart, his guests are Mikie Sherrill and Abigail Spanberger. As the show write, “Fresh off their decisive election night wins, Jon is joined by Governors-Elect (and former congressional roommates) Mikie Sherrill of New Jersey and Abigail Spanberger of Virginia, to reflect on their journeys from Capitol Hill to state leadership. Together, they discuss their shared experience navigating Congressional gridlock, explore what drew them to seek executive power, and examine what they hope to accomplish for their states as governor. Plus, what do Thanksgiving, Ozempic, and big balls have in common?”
By the way, if you don't want to listen to the whole conversation (or any of it), it's still worth checking out the segment "How Mikie & Abigail Met", where they talk about that and being roommates. It's a lot of fun. Just click on the time hyperlink, and it will take you right there.
