Well, I'm back in Los Angeles now. And the good news is that this time American Airlines didn't have a corporate-wide computer meltdown like the last time I flew from Chicago to L.A. In fact, I think they felt so bad about that that the pilot knew I was on board and flew a little faster than usual, and we got in a half-hour early. (Actually, what was rally odd is that -- for I think maybe the first time in my life -- the plan actually too off early. It was supposed to leave at 10:20 AM, and we began taxiing down the runway at 10:15 AM.)
I'll have some other new things to post soon, but I did want to check in now that I've returned.
