The Popcorn Watch Party Returns
We have another film today from the “Popcorn in Bed” videos hosted by a young Canadian-American woman named Cassie, watching and commenting on a classic movie for the first time. And this one is not only with her younger sister Carly, but it turns out to be the first time she joined her sister. As they say here, they both especially love “chick flicks” and movies with happy endings. Though, to their credit, they do branch out of their comfort zone. And so, what have they chosen to watch here for the first time? “Jaws”!! They know absolutely nothing about it, except the two-note theme – and that it’s about a shark. I should note that in this series, the host Cassie often provide black-and-white, slow-motion replays with the camera focused only on her (or both, if there are two watching) when there is some moment in the film that gets them to jump. It will not surprise you that there are several such moments here.
