The Poehler Apposite

Recently, I wrote about how at the very early start of Amy Poehler’s career, before joining SNL, did she improv with two Chicago groups, Second City and the Upright Citizens Brigade – during which time she got hired to play a recuring character on Conan O’Brien’s 12:30 AM show on NBC.  She played ‘Stacy,’ the teenage sister of Conan’s sidekick Andy Richter and has a major crush on Conan.  In later interviews, Conan always says the writing of the sketches was fine, around a B, but she “made them an A+++++++."

Here’s another one, where Stacy pretends to be Irish for Conan.
