The Poehler Apposite

And one more of the sketches Amy Poehler did early her career on Conan O’Brien’s 12:30 AM talk show.  As I’ve written, the recuring character she played was ‘Stacy,’ the teenage sister of Conan’s sidekick Andy Richter and has a major crush on Conan.  This time, Stacy tells Conan that she has a boyfriend.

Notably, too, in this sketch, is that her boyfriend is played by Andy Daly, a wonderful actor also from the Upright Citizens Brigade that Amy Poehler was in back in Chicago, after starting in Second City.  Among a great many other things, Andy Daly had a very funny somewhat-repeating role on Major Crimes as a deluded guy who thought he was a  police detective, named Richard Tracy.  (Or, yes, Dick Tracy.)
