If you didn't see Jon Stewart's day of hosting The Daily Show on Monday, his Main Segment was about the statistics of crime, which focuses mostly on how the Republican Party misuses them to scare its base.  The piece is very pointed, extremely funny and leads to a serious, angry harangue.
