The Greeneing of the GOP

Marjorie Taylor Greene NOW says "I don’t want anything to do with" Nick Fuentes.” And adds that when told of his anti-Semitic views, she "could not believe the stuff he says," insisting she supposedly didn't know those views before speaking at his conference back in February (and has not denounced him between then and just now).

Nevermind that it's an annual conference, not a surprise that just suddenly popped up. Nevermind that he's a well-known anti-Semitic Holocaust denier. Nevermind that she has a staff to check out such things. Nevermind that the DAY BEFORE she spoke, the conference ran a video of Fuentes praising Vladimir Putin and then comparing him to Adolf Hitler. Nevermind at the conference she said, "Everything this Congress does is evil." Never mind her own rantings about Jewish space lasers starting the California wildfires.

The only good thing to come out of this with Marjorie Taylor Greene is that it's created a wedge with the Nick Fuentes who now says, "I'm done with her. It's, like, and by the way, you know, she wants to be the face of Christian nationalism -- like, she's a divorced and she's, like, actively an adulterer. How are you going to be the face of Christian nationalism when you're a divorced woman girl boss. It doesn't even make any sense. I'm so glad I don't have to pretend to support that anymore."

Oh, and...

"There's not anything that shows good character in her life. She's just weak. She'll go and say something edgy to get attention, and then when the pressure comes, she buckles. You know, she's going to be a MAGA mom and QAnon and all of that, and then the second Kevin McCarthy reprimands her and she loses her committee, she goes and apologizes, and she's going to say, 'Oh, Covid is like the Holocaust' -- oh, so edgy, wow, drink up all the attention, here's the attention you ordered -- and then the second it gets to hot, 'Oh, I'm sorry, I went to a Holocaust museum and nuh-nuh, nuh-nuh-nuh.'"

Because, yeah, whatever. May they all find a nice spot in Hell to rot together.
