The Daily Stewart This Week
If you didn't see Jon Stewart's Monday hosting of The Daily Show last night, his Main Story was on...oh, you know. This was his first broadcast since the election, and his report is (not shockingly) scathing, and still is able to get a lot of humor mixed in there.
At the beginning, I wasn't bowled over with his commentary -- some of which I thought was smart, but some had too much of the complaining that I find off-base. However, early on he changes focus and goes after what I do like, and wrote about the other day, all the immediate hand-wringing and kneejerk finger pointing. I do wish he focused on MAGOPs, as well, and other races and issues across the country, especially considering what he'd been talking about leading up to the election -- but it's his show, and this is what he chose. And overall, it's very good.
