The Daily Stewart This Week
If you didn't see Jon Stewart's Monday hosting of The Daily Show, his Main Story was about all the actions Trump took to screw up democracy last week, and how the Democratic response has been tepid. (Though I think he was being a bit unfair to Dan Goldman, who was the Democrat's counsel for the second impeachment trial of Trump, so his credentials are strong. It's just that -- in the clip they show -- he was stating the unfortunate and painful obvious, and didn't do it well.)
Still, the piece is strong, funny and pointed -- on the criticism of both Trump actions and Democratic response. He still hasn't made the leap to calling what Trump is doing "fascist," but at least in Jordan Klepper's preview at the end of the show (not in this video) about the rest of the week, he does use that "F" word...
And it has a great surprise in it. Though because of how the show posted the video online (understandably), the surprise might not be as big as when watching the show on TV...
