That's a Rich One

I came upon this in a very odd, roundabout way.

In tonight's division series final between the Washington Nationals and Los Angeles Dodgers, the starting pitcher for L.A. is Rich Hill.  That made me think of the stand-up comedian Rich Hall, who I always enjoyed for his low-key, bone-dry off-beat style of humor.  I hadn't seen him for a very long time and decided to see if I could find some sketches from the past that liked.

As it turned out, he's still pretty active.  He seems to be working in England a lot, but even here in the U.S., and has made a bunch of specials.  (Whether here or overseas, I'm not sure, I haven't checked them out.)  There was a very funny monologue in England on their election night two years ago, when David Cameron became Prime Minister from the perspective of an American -- I almost posted that, as a bit of counter-programming for what's going on here, but the audio sync was a bit off, so I kept browsing.

And came upon this.  It's Hall performing a song about Bob Dylan in the style of Bob Dylan.  And given that Dylan was just named the recipient of the Nobel Prize for Literature, I thought the timing was too perfect not to embed it here.  It's not hilarious or his best work.  But there's some very funny stuff in it, and giving that timing, how could I pass it by.
