Sein of the Times

We turn these pages over to Jerry Seinfeld this morning, for two minutes.

Seinfeld was giving a stand-up performance the other day, in Australia, when he was heckled by a few in the audience over his support of Israel.

Being in Australia, which is known for being nice, perhaps they don't have a long history of heckling, though they are pretty loud, so out of kind thoughtfulness in return we take this opportunity to offer some kind advice.

Pro Tip for heckling:

Do not heckle a master comedian because they do this for a living, are really good at handling hecklers after years of experience that includes drunks, are likely prepared for whatever you say, are much better at comebacks than you, and are funny while you're angry and interrupting.  And may even enjoy the heckling because it lets them interact with the audience and perhaps work it into an extended bit.  Like, for two minutes.  And also -- they have a microphone.
