Second Chance Theatre
Seth Meyers has a running bit on his late-night show called "Second Chance Theatre." That's where they take a sketch originally written for Saturday Night Live that got cut before making it to air, usually getting as far as dress rehearsal. Making them all the more fun, what with his connections to SNL and his show done in the same building, Meyers often gets Saturday Night Live cast members to perform in them.
This one is called "Griff Banks, Sensitive Bully." There are three SNL-related guest stars, including one of my current faves -- not a performer on the show, but a writer who's gone on to his own stand-up career. (Not to give away any names, he's the first "guest" you'll see in the sketch, in a blue-plaid shirt, jeans and glasses.)
And as a bonus, here is the "post-sketch analysis" they did with Seth Meyers, the three main actors, and the two writers who originally wrote the sketch for SNL
