Quote of the Day

"We first played LA in 1965. Thank you for coming to see us. We really appreciate it,"

-- Mick Jagger at Staples Center.

Sometimes you have to see in printed words what you know you know, to put what you know in proper perspective.

The Rolling Stones have been touring as a rock band for half a century!

Man, did they ever pick the right name for their band.  Not only do Rolling Stones apparently really not gather moss, but as Oscar Hammerstein II even more pointedly wrote in Show Boat -- "And Old Man River, he just keeps rolling along."
