I've been a big admirer of Rep. Jasmine Crockett, and she added to that last Thursday when she threw down the gauntlet in the House Oversight Committee's hearing. It was so impressive that I thought it best to just turn things over to her today.
It's virtuosic, and she leaves you breathless. As a friend wrote in reply when I sent him the video, "Devastating! In addition to every other political skill, what a fantastic delivery. Doesn't give an inch. Wipes the floor with those monsters."
And for all the majesty of how she presented her questioning, it works because she keeps bringing out documents with facts. Those people testifying are authors of Project 2025. I fact, the woman there can't help herself at the bravura of what she's seeing and so doesn't even try to obfuscate her answers and virtually smiles through it, almost it seems in admiration.
On top of this masterful presentation by Crockett, what I also love is the little box in the corner of the screen showing the stock market hitting an all-time high!!
P.S. It's since gone up even higher, and is now 42,009.
Rep. Crockett herself also posted the video. She described it this way:
"Today, @GOPoversight was kind enough to invite two of the authors of Project 2025 - and former members of Trump's cabinet - to answer some questions. I asked one of them about their unsubstantiated claims about diversity, equity, and inclusion."
