Putting the Great in Greatness
This ad is from The Lincoln Project, called "American Greatness," and it’s superb. Really smart. It’s almost Reagan’s “Morning in America” but from a liberal perspective so embracing and honest at its core that most of it (if not all) likely fits even most conservative views (though obviously not everyone on the farthest right). In fact, the announcer has a tone that almost sounds the same, which I wouldn't be surprised was intentional. It’s a Reaganesque message on the surface in that it's deeply pro-America about how great America is now -- not that it has to be made great “again”. And is great for reasons that are the direct opposite of Trump: you are what’s great about America, he is a dystopian cult leader with nothing great about him.
