So, we've learned that what outrages a Republican is not a president extorting a foreign leader for his own benefit, but is when a committee chairman recesses a hearing very late at night until next morning without courteously asking first.
It's nice to know the GOP has standards. O the irony of this!! Consider: the Republican Party and its committee ranking member Rep. Doug Collins (R-GA) are *outraged* that they were Not Consulted on the Schedule - but are OK with Trump secretly withholding $400 million in aid he was required by law to give to our ally Ukraine at war with our enemy Russia unless he first informed the Senate he was withholding it, which he didn't do, but was extorting them. It kind of makes those previously-set standards more flexible than ideal when trying to keep them in focus. I also loved how Republicans and the head-exploding Republicans actually compared Democratic committee chairman Jerry Nadler to "Stalin," because, as you know, like the Russian dictator (who Trump probably would have loved), Stalin often brutally forced the Kremlin to leave at 11 PM and made them return at 10 the next morning. Yes! The brutal, "Stalin-like" dictatorship!!! Forcing people go home at 11 PM after 13 hours of work and cruelly making them return at 10 the next morning. The inhumanity & dishonesty. It's almost like being sent to the Siberian Gulag! So, it's understand why Rep. Collins said you could no longer trust Jerry Nadler. Turst, after all, is clearly very important to Republicans. Bonus note: There are 13,400 documented Trump lies.
