Out to Sea
Nothing of note to add this evening. I was out again most of the afternoon with my cousin Jim Kaplan on his sailboat. He's the one who knows what he's doing, I'm the swabby who knows how to enjoy himself on the craft and help out where he can.
This is us on the way out of the marina, heading to the open seas of the Pacific Ocean. Happily, the day was great. In the lower 70s with a nice breeze that helped with the sails. (He doesn't unfurl them until we're just about to hit the breakwater at the end of the marina.)
Sorry, this occupied the bulk of my day, so I didn't get around to writing anything for this evening. We'll get back to that tomorrow. But for now, this of the Flying Fish III will have to suffice.

I'll toss in one more picture for the fun of it, from another voyage a year ago. Here are some seals spending a lazy afternoon sunbathing on the docks.
