Oh, Say Can You CPAC...

After reading about Trump's speech at CPAC, I was going to write a long piece on it.  It was at a new level of truly insane, out-of-control and full-on fascist.  So much so that I think we can finally see his normal projecting coming through every corpuscle of his body in full force with his attacks on President Biden being supposedly demented.

He even publicly admitted that if he doesn't like a poll he calls it fake.  No, really.  That's not an interpretation of what he's sort of saying.  It's what he said --

"By the way, you have a poll coming up," he told the attendees. "Unfortunately I want to know what it is. You know, they do that straw poll, right?  Now, if it's bad ideas, so I say it's fake. If it's good, I say that's the most accurate poll perhaps ever."

But as always, as crazy as he was, as much as he's insisting he won the election, this isn't about Trump, it's about the elected Republicans in Congress who still enable this quite-truly crazy person.

That said, I realized that I didn't have to write much more than this because I realized that the day before a friend sent me a video of Jim Acosta on CNN, and he said it all himself and not only better, but with video.  Considering that this was before Trump's speech, that makes it all the more impressive.  Though in fairness, I think it didn't take all that much prognostication to figure how true lunatic Trump would get.
