It was a quiet week -- but an interesting one.  And so this weeks monologue from A Prairie Home Companion is special.  Garrison Keillor a few memories about his family's history in his other hometown of Anoka.  "Other" in that Anoka is where he was actually born and his real hometown, and the monologue is delivered during a special live broadcast from his alma mater, Anoka High School.

In fact, just for the fun of it, here's a bonus this week.  This is the entire PHC broadcast from Anoka High School.  It's a lot of fun, including interviews with several of Keillor's old teachers, some special songs about Anoka, a bunch of sketches about the town, and guest appearances by several graduates of the high school.

This song most definitely fits perfectly into the very point of the Holiday Music Fest -- f a lovely Christmas song that's not well-known. It's from the musical She Loves Me written by Sheldon Harn
