As you've no doubt read, the Veronica Mars folks raised enough online money to make a feature film based on their former TV series. And Zach Braff of Scrubs just raised the money to make a follow-up to his wonderful film, Garden State.
And now enter Catherine and Bernie Clinch. Okay, it's not the same thing, but the difference is that I know them. Catherine is dear friend who's a long-time writer and producer. Bernie has won awards for his video production work. For several years, they've been putting together a company, Nuclear Family Films, with a team of experienced filmmakers involved, and now they finally went public today with the Indiegogo website to raise $500,000 for their film, Winners. (It's the story of an abused and abandoned greyhound racing dog that adopts a high school kid who runs track-and-field. They help each other and eventually both become...well, you know. Winners.) If you're interested, this gives a lot of specific information and details. I'm just proud of them finally getting this off the ground. And I like to say nice things about friends behind their backs. (I haven't even told Catherine that I'm writing this...) But here, let Madame La Clinch tell you more about it.

Thanks for your note. I've spoken with Catherine Clinch, and she said that because the deadline for the "pitch" (or whatever it's called...) is over, they have taken the video down.
