Last Week Tonight Last Night

If you didn't see LAST WEEK TONIGHT with John Oliver last night, the Main Story was on presidential libraries.  It's a fun story -- interesting and often very funny.  And it deals with an excellent, very valid point as part of its focus:  how little financial control on these libraries and how then can be used for legitimate bribery.  Though its other main point is a bit overwrought -- how there is not great control over the material and these are more archives and museums than actually libraries.  First, they're correct, although a presidential library is hardly the sole source of historical research, and second, whether it's a library-museum or archive is a pretty thin line to dance on and care greatly about -- especially when the first definition of "Library" in my WordWeb dictionary is: "A building that houses a collection of books and other materials."

Still, it's a fun, good report, within reasonable limits...
