If you missed Last Week Tonight with John Oliver last night, the Main Story was about solitary confinement. On the surface, it might not seem like a significant issue, but the report was fascinating and makes a strong case why it is something people should be aware of and concerned over -- and all done with a lot of humor.
That said, there was one joke which I thought went much too far, for reasons I won't explain so as to not give it away. But if you watch, the joke concerns Paul McCartney.
