Judge Not, Lest Ye Be Judged

It turns out that Matthew Kacsmaryk, the Texas judge who just made the abortion pill ruling, had his name removed from a controversial law review article he'd been listed as sole author -- and then replaced it with others, right before he had his judicial confirmation hearing.

Legal staffers who have dealt with the nomination process (including the principal deputy in the DOJ's Office of Legal Policy under President George W. Bush) called the action such words as "problematic," "a little shady" and "unethical."

No word yet verifying that Clarence Thomas said, "Whew, thank goodness this takes some of the heat off met for the moment and shows I'm not the only Republican judicial appointee who was problematic, a little shady and unethical."

You can read the Washington Post article here.  But if you can't access that, here's the RawStary version based on it.
