​There was a Confederate rally near Matthew's Chocolate in a small North Carolina town, and the event was scaring away customers. He went to the police, but they couldn't do anything about it. So instead he made up a sign -- "Burn a Rebel flag, Get a free chocolate."  The protesters decided to pose in front of the sign and post it on the Internet, to build support for themselves.  It brought about many national threats to him, but the community itself rallied to the store...and he sold out his entire stock!!  Absolutely everything he had. Until he had to close down because there was nothing left to sell.
