In the News

I've been seeing a lot of guns rights advocates on the news the last couple days dismissive of the Administration's proposals for gun control protections for the reason that "none of what the president is proposing would have changed the Newtown tragedy at all."

Forgetting for a moment that that's not remotely true, since the assault weapon used would not have been available to the killer's mother who had bought it, there's actually really good news in them saying this.  The good news is that since they don't like the Administration's proposals because the edicts wouldn't stop future massacres, then it would seem they're suggesting that laws should go even further.

Cool.  Who would have thought?!  Finally, the NRA and gun advocates come out sensibly for strong enforcement.
