If you happen to be traveling Down Under, or have friends there, the Australia Post service has introduced a new techie twist for mailing.  It’s the Video Stamp.  You record a video message of up to 15 seconds, and when the recipient gets the item they just scan the stamp with the QR scanner on their Smartphone (or enter a code on the Australia Post website).  Further the sender can record the message up to 12 hours after sending their mail.  No word if one would get an electric shock when licking the stamp.
