I Sea You

I've mentioned in the past that on occasion I go out for a sail on the Pacific Ocean with my cousin Jim Kaplan, who worked in the marine industry for decades and has a small boat.  We took a jaunt on Saturday, and it turned out that there were a couple of regattas which were so colorful that I took a photo.  It actually stretched quite a bit further off the horizon to the right, but this will give you some idea.

By the way, had we sneaked our way into one of the races, we'd have been crushed by even the slowest boat.  Commodore Kaplan's idea of speed is traveling somewhere  between the dogpaddle and floating.  When turning back into the marina, we could see people walking on the shore and beating us.  But leisurely on the ocean is very relaxing.
