His Eye is on the Sparrow

This is just too freaking good.

I enjoy Johnny Depp's acting, though he's done plenty of films that held little interest for me.  So, I don't leap in the air just because there's a new Johnny Depp movie. But boy howdy, did he ever earn his bonus points the other day.

This should be in the first page of the "How to Use Celebrity" Handbook.

Apparently there are big fans of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies at a children's hospital in Brisbane, Australia.  So Capt. Jack Sparrow decided to pay a visit.  Just to see if there was anything there to steal, of course.

Seeing the faces on the kids -- and (though he keeps in character) seeing his body language -- I wouldn't be surprised if this isn't the last time Depp does something like this.

There's no sound for the first few seconds, but don't worry it kicks in quickly, where it's so worth it.
