Go Eastman, Young Man

Very interesting story on CNN that hasn't gotten much attention beyond there, so far.  Yesterday, Bob Woodward appeared on their New Day show with Brianna Keilar.  And he told of his researcher Claire McMullen discovering a podcast from May 5th with Trump lawyer John Eastman, who wrote the infamous memo laying out how Vice President Mike Pence could not certify the election.

In the podcast, Eastman made two extremely interesting declarations.  The first is when he talked about the war room at the Willard Hotel which was used for coordinating communications before the January 6 rally.  But the second in some ways (notably legal) is far more fascinating -- saying that he normally wouldn't be talking about this, but that Trump gave him permission, so "he's waived the privilege."

We'll let Woodward explain better -
