Giving It Your Best Schatz
We're turning the floor over this morning to Sen. Brian Schatz of Hawaii. It turns out to be an old video from a year ago -- April, 2022. But it's still fresh for today. Especially since now, Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) is doing basically the same thing. (In fact, when I first watched this yesterday, I was a bit confused, wondering why Sen. Schatz was only going after Josh Hawley and not Tuberville, too...) So, the larger point is that this is pretty much core GOP at the expense of U.S. national security.
And Schatz expresses it SO well.
When Josh Hawley (R-MO) continued his ongoing block of senior Defense Department officials, Schatz had enough and took to the Senate floor in a tour-de-force blistering rebuke.
Someone on Twitter posted it with the comment, “Brian Schatz telling Josh Hawley to go fuck himself is worth a watch.”
Oh, it is.

Yes, it's a year old. But still current.
