Give My Regards to Norway

A few weeks ago, we had a couple of songs from the Norway cast of the musical, Annie, here and here.  But lest you think otherwise, the Norwegian musical stage goes much further than adorable waifs.  And so, we continue our spanning of the globe with the Wide World of Musicals.  For the moment, though, since we've already landed in Norway, we'll stick there for a while, waiting for our exit visit.

This is a strange one, but a lot of fun.

It's from the original Norway cast of The Sound of Music in 2008, performing the song "Do Re Mi".  The number stars Maria Arredondo as...Maria.  (That was convenient.)  And a bunch of adorable waifs  What's wonderful about it is the very inventive staging, that's just so clever with its simplicity that the performance just bursts out in joy.
