From the Management

In December, 2014, I wrote an article on overlaps of musical themes in the musical Les Miserables and classical music. It was a popular piece here, since it turned out that a lot of people outside this site thought certain themes sounded familiar and would then do a Google search -- and found this article. For reasons I can't example, however, I can't find the article on the site after it switched over to the new platform. I assume it's there somewhere, but it's not coming up in any searches. And maybe it just fell through the cracks. Whatever the reason, I thought it too worthwhile not to repost it. Besides, it's been 12 years at this point, so posting such a well-read article doesn't seem a bad idea... I didn't want to include this explanation in the article itself, so I decided to post this first. I'll be reposting the original article right after.

Perhaps I'll discover other missing pieces over time. Hopefully not, but if so, they'll get reposted, as well. Assuming I can recover them...
