Early Election Night Tip

A state to watch on Election night that hasn’t got as much notice as most is North Carolina.  They count early and will likely announce results Tuesday.  (And being on the East Coast, that should be very early out here.)  And what’s good is that Joe Biden doesn't have to win the state, but Trump does.  And what’s important is that if Joe Biden wins Wisconsin and Michigan (and he’s strongly ahead in both, especially Wisconsin)-- and wins North Carolina, he'll be over 270, even if he loses Pennsylvania, Arizona, Florida, Texas, Georgia, Iowa and Ohio.  All of them.  And right now, Biden is up 6 points in North Carolina.

To be clear, Biden could win some of those other states, most notably Pennsylvania where he's up by 5, and leading in Arizona (by between 2 to 6 points) and Georgia.  I just mention North Carolina because they count votes early and should announce their results on Tuesday night.
