I don't really have anything to say about Rand Paul's 13-hour filibuster yesterday over drones, but it was too good of a headline to let pass.
Oh, okay, I'll add one quick thing. Regardless of what I think about his position (and my thoughts are mixed -- hence the "regardless..."), I offer a hat's off to him actually standing up and filibustering for his filibuster, rather than hiding behind a Senate rule that allows filibustering in private and not have to do anything. At least this way, you get your issue into the public to bring an awareness to your concerns, rather than stopping the government from operating because of what could be just personal petulance.
