Do You Believe in Mago?

Javy Baez's nickname is "El Mago" (The Magician) for doing odd things magnificently and just naturally that no one else does. Yesterday I was watching the Cubs game when he did his latest -- he was fooled by a pitch, it bounced in the dirt, he threw his bat...and not only hit the ball, but got a single!  And even he couldn't figure out how. (Watch to the end...)

It was so bizarre that Major League Baseball sent it out in a tweet.  Even ESPN made it one of their Top 10 Plays of the Day.

For those interested, this is a slightly longer, fun look at the play which includes all three announcers -- the Cubs TV play-by-play, their radio broadcasters, and also even the Pittsburgh Pirate announcers in awe at the play.  You can watch it here.
