Yesterday, in my replying to a comment by someone who had insisted how the economy supposedly crashed during Barack Obama's Administration, rather than during the George W. Bush Administration, when it actually occurred, and how the commenter insisted that economic growth during the Obama years has supposedly been the worst ever in history, I mentioned how unemployment has dropped during Mr. Obama's time in office from 8.1% to 6.4%.   I was wrong, and apologize.  It had dropped to 5.4%

NOTE; In the jobs report for May, unemployment rose to 5.5%.  As the A.P. explained though, "But that occurred for a good reason:  Hundreds of thousands more people sought jobs in May, and not all found them."

Indeed, in that regard, it must also be mentioned that new jobs in May skyrocketed up to 280,000.
