Deal of the Censurey

Yesterday, I wanted to see the House debate over censuring Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) for posting videos that suggested killing a member of Congress and threatened the life of the President, so I turned on C-SPAN. Within 30 seconds, Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA) stood up and said that Democrats have a "lust for power" and want "totalitarian control over every aspect of American life."

Just to be clear:

It was Republicans who stormed the U.S. capital to overthrow the United States government.  Enabled by the Republican President and Republicans in Congress.

It's the Republican Party that wants to control women's bodies.

There's so much more. But that's a good, basic starting point.

While I didn't get to see the speech by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who was the member of Congress displayed in Mr. Gosar's video, I did come across video that included what she said. It's a great six minutes.
