Cyrano: the Musical 2

And so we continue with another song from the terrific flop 1973 musical, Cyrano, with music by Michael J. Lewis and book and lyrics by novelist Anthony Burgess, and starring Christopher Plummer who won the Tony Award as Best Actor in a Musical.

Probably the most famous scene in Edmond Rostand's play Cyrano de Bergerac is when Cyrano is insulted over his nose, and he challenges the man that he can come up with 20 far-better insults.  The stage show put that all to music.  And here then is Christopher Plummer with "The Nose Song."
