Copy That

Last June, I filled out the forms and filed for copyright on my book, A Christmas Carol 2:  The Return of Scrooge.  (Yes, I know the book was published the November before, and I was a tad slow in applying.  What can I say?)

Well, the copyright finally arrived.  And it only took six months!  But it's official.  Huzzah.

The Copyright Office does say it can take a while, but like up to four months or so.  So, as the weeks and months extended on, I was getting a tad concerned that I might have filled out something incorrectly or that I was lost in a government red tape morass.  But no, it's all well.  I can sleep easy now.  Who knows, I might be visited by three ghosts...
