This is one of the more fascinating segments of Martin Short as Jiminy Glick, as he interviews Ricky Gervais in what they call online "the extended cut."  I assume this got trimmed down for air, because it goes on for 10 minutes, which is much longer than they usually run.

What's so fascinating is that Gervais is a comedian is is pretty blunt and can be brutal in his comedy, and he's chosen hit back hard at Jiminiy.  But Martin Short is so adept at this character that he handles it with seriously- impressive skill -- at time rolling with the punches, at time blissfully ignoring them, and at times being just as blunt in return.  Gervais is clearly impressed.  Also uncommon here is that at one point, just past the 6-minute mark, Short almost breaks character and laughs at the roll he's on, but he fits it off.
