A Small Proposal

Videos of adorable dogs and surprise proposals tend to be pretty popular on the Internet.  Hey, I admit to being an adherent.  That doesn't mean I love them all -- I've become a connoisseur and can rate the fine bouquet of surprise proposal videos and adorable dogs as well as a vintner can determine a great Pouilly-Fuissé.

This isn't one of The Great surprise wedding videos.  But it's unique and required some high-end participation, and for that it stands out as wonderful.

I was a huge fan of the series, Scrubs.  So, as it happened, I was searching YouTube the other day for a particular video, and came upon this.

It requires a small bit of background to help.

This takes place on the set of Scrubs.  Two of the show's regulars, star Zach Braff and John C. McGinley are doing the first take of a scene.  Braff's character 'J.D.' has shown up at the apartment of an annoyed 'Dr. Cox' (played by McGinley) because he's come to ask for some advice on a patient, a rude intrusion.
