This video from 1955 is a rare bit of theatrical history on a couple of levels. It's an eight-minute medley with two significant Broadway legends together, Mary Martin and Noel Coward. Making it all the more notable is that neither performer has a lot of video footage on them, most especially Noel Coward.
What I also love here is something SO totally showbiz and front that era -- a wonderfully-entertaining, if somewhat bizarre 45-second choreographed exit of bows.
Robert J. Elisberg is a political commentator, screenwriter, novelist, tech writer and also some other things that I just tend to keep forgetting.
