A Bit More of Fry and Laurie

I haven't had a bit of Fry and Laurie for a while, so now is as good a time as any.  Here's another sketch from Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry's comedy series on the BBC, A Bit of Fry and Laurie, which they did from 1989 to 1995 (though in the British way, they took a couple of years of during that period, and the show was on for four seasons...and just 26 episodes).

It's interesting about cultures and the spreading of time.  If something like that was done in the United States, it would basically be the equivalent of one year, and being cancelled after four episodes its second year.  And would be considered fairly unsuccessful.  But given the British form of doing things, it's considered not only very successful, but one of the high points of British TV comedy.  And deservedly so.
