I've gotten out of the habit of posting "Mystery Guest" segments from the TV show What's My Line?, and it's time to rectify that. So, here's an episode with not just one but three Mystery Guests in the segment -- Peter, Paul & Mary, from early in their career. Their appearance comes along around the 20-minute mark, if you want to jump forward. But this is a show for which you might prefer to watch the whole thing. That's because one of the panelists here is...Woody Allen. But there's even more. The first guest -- not a Mystery Guest because he's at the very beginning of his career -- is the now-renowned conductor and Kennedy Center Honors recipient Seiji Ozawa. Though Maestro Ozawa came to later fame with the Boston Symphony, before even that he was the Music Director of the Ravinia Music Festival, the summer home of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra which I write about here often and worked at for a couple of seasons. In fact, he was named the Music Director just six weeks after this broadcast, on August 25, 1963!

Seiji Ozawa as a very young man! Of course he went on to great fame and acclaim as the conductor of the Boston Symphony Orchestra and other great orchestras as well. I saw him in Boston several times many years ago.
