The good folks at Bad Lip Reading are back, and trash talking may not be the same.
Next month, there is a manufactured fight in mixed-sports scheduled between boxing champion Floyd Mayweather and UFC (also known as kick-boxing) champion Conor McGregor. It's a meaningless event, even as far as these things go, though it's garnered a lot of interest given Mayweather's undefeated record and McGregor's popularity.
But also, as these things do, they have been promoting the match with typical circus-like hype. Normally, such press events invoke a great deal of posturing and name-calling and chest-bumping, but this fight has devolved more than usual in the level of crassness. It's pretty-much all staged beforehand, otherwise, (given the racist and anti-gay smarminess being thrown around) it's likely an actual fight would have broken out already.
But that's where our Bad Lip Reading team enters. Taking trash talking to the land of ludicrous.
