On Saturday, Trump tweeted -- "We need to be smart, vigilant and tough. We need the courts to give us back our rights. We need the Travel Ban as an extra level of safety!" One little problem. His lawyers are arguing in court that it is NOT a "ban." Given that most previous courts have used Trump's own words during the campaign against his lawyers, this really doesn't help their case a whole lot. The sound you hear as the administration lawyers screaming in agony as they prepare for the Supreme Court... One big problem. 3 AM then came. And you know what that means. And no, I'm not joking. Just look at the timestamp on Trump's latest Tweetstorm today. Meanwhile, Justice Department attorneys are running around, quickly shredding old strategy plans for their Supreme Court filing and desperately grabbing anyone who passes by their offices to find out if they have some idea of their own that they can try to argue. And by anyone, I include the pizza delivery guy. Security cameras in the DOJ have caught the staff reaction to Trump's latest Tweetstorm.
